Multiplication Math Mystery Activity | Grades 3–4 | Missing Trophy Detective Case
Can your student solve the case?
Something strange has happened at BrainSpark Lab.
The prized Multiplication Trophy is missing, four students were nearby, and the evidence seems to point in more than one direction.
Students must use their multiplication skills to investigate the mystery.
But this isn't another page of repetitive multiplication problems.
Throughout the investigation, students will:
solve multiplication facts, crack a secret code, analyze a timeline, follow a lab map, evaluate witness evidence, compare clues, identify misleading information, and make a final evidence-based conclusion.
The mystery is intentionally designed so students cannot simply guess the answer from the first clue. They must continue investigating and use all the evidence before solving the case.
